Rest in Power Series

In the wake of the killing of George Floyd, I created a series of portraits for Instagram featuring deceased black men and women who were victims of the systemic racism that continues to plague American life. In each post I gave my own recounting and personal thoughts on each individual case, lamenting on the horrific details and how much work still needs to be done. I've since come to call these illustrations the "Rest in Power" series.
