The Beaten Path

This is a series of black and white photos taken in and around my local neighborhood in New York. I've always had a habit during my walks of going off the beaten path, which typically refers to roads or streets that you haven't yet travelled or doesn't get much people traffic. I thought about this a lot as I walked down these different side streets and finding all sorts of unique visual treasures along the way; getting a glimpse into the real personality of my neighborhood as I walk these now beaten paths. Pictured here are many of those visual treasures.
